Setta oversees all aspects of CGC’s Child Advocacy Center and Multi-Disciplinary Team. Prior to her role with CGC, Setta worked at The Center for Sexual Assault Crisis Counseling and Education as their Director of Crisis Counseling and Advocacy where she provided supervision and oversight to The Center’s individual and group crisis counselors and programs. During her time at The Center she traveled twice to Armenia to provide in depth training to staff and volunteers regarding sexual assault crisis counseling at the Women’s Resource Center. This training was the foundation for the country’s first sexual assault crisis hotline. In her current role Setta sits on two statewide committees: The Governor’s Task Force on Justice for Abused Children Multidisciplinary Team Evaluation Committee and the Human Anti-Trafficking Response Team Leadership Committee. Setta graduated from the University Of Connecticut School Of Social Work with her MSW and University of Connecticut with her BA in Women’s Studies and Philosophy.
