Terri, APRN, FNP-BC, AAHIVS (she/her)

NURSE PRACTITIONER

Terri is a Family Nurse Practitioner and the medical provider for the Gender Diversity and Resilience Program. Terri was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma and has worked in healthcare for over 10 years with a steady dedication to uplifting the communities that have welcomed her. She received her undergraduate degree in Nursing and Global Health at Emory University and completed a graduate Family Nurse Practitioner program at The Johns Hopkins University. Terri completed her Postgraduate Nurse Practitioner (NP) Residency Program in primary care and Center for Key Populations (CKP) Fellowship at Community Health Center, Inc. focused on primary and specialty care for people living with HIV, substance use disorders, LGBTQIA+ community and those experiencing homelessness. Terri is currently a primary care provider across the lifespan and serves as the medical lead for CKP in Fairfield County, Connecticut. With an intersectional lens, Terri’s research, education, and clinical practice all focus on racial, economic, and health care justice for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and HIV Specialist. Terri is a volunteer health educator and contributor for Womanly – a health and art publication for woman and non binary people. She’s a self-identified choir nerd.
