OUTPATIENT SERVICES DIRECTOR

Ms. Seymour earned her masters of social work from State University of New York, Stonybrook. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Connecticut in New York. She was hired by CGC in June 2019 as Director of Outpatient Services. She provides administrative and clinical leadership to the Agency’s Children and Family Therapy program.

Ms. Seymour has over 20 years’ experience in the mental health field and has worked in a variety of settings and with diverse populations. Most recently, she served as Clinical Director of Newport Academy’s Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs in Darien, CT. There she was responsible for the full oversight of the programs.

She specializes in working with family, children and adolescents and has training certification in Functional Family Therapy and Attachment Based Family Therapy. She has further experience in several modalities including, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR and Critical Stress Incident Debriefing.
