After graduating with her masters in Marriage and Family at the top of her class, May founded a private practice and consulting firm dedicated to serving LGBTQ people and their families. Since its founding, May’s practice has provided advocacy, consulting, and education for transgender people in schools, medical clinics, mental health clinics, and workplaces. Her therapy, advocacy, and education draws from systemic, post-modern, post-structural, feminist, and multicultural theoretical frameworks. In her personal life, May is much like an indoor-outdoor cat: being both a homebody and an outdoors enthusiast. Currently, May is contracted with CHC to provide training, consultation, ad clinical supervision on Transgender cultural competency.
