To help meet the increasing mental and behavioral needs of our communities’ youth, the Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut (CGC) recently recruited Rachel Mackson, MSW as their new Quality Improvement and Outcomes Director.
Prior to joining CGC, Ms. Mackson worked with senior leadership, direct services staff, and outside stakeholders to define and measure outcomes for children in foster care in St. Louis and Louisiana. Her professional experience also includes working with incarcerated and recently-released youth in Indiana on goal-setting and re-entry planning. Ms. Mackson earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Miami University and her Master’s in Social Work from the George Warren Brown School at Washington University.
