Larry Feldman, LCSW, Director of Emergency Mobile Psychiatric Services at the Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut (CGC), died unexpectedly on Monday, October 31st.

During his four plus years at the CGC, Larry worked with more than 500 youth in Stamford, Greenwich, Darien, and New Canaan. He was a gifted clinician who worked tirelessly to help children and teens experiencing psychiatric and behavioral crises. There was no crisis that was too difficult for Larry.

Larry was also a highly respected clinical supervisor who shaped the professional development of many clinical staff during his time at CGC.

“Larry left his mark on the community through all of the children and families whose lives he touched, said Eliot Brenner, Ph.D. President and CEO. “His devotion to service and dedication to community was a model for all of us. We will miss him.”

Those who wish to pay their respects to Larry and his family are invited to the Leo P. Gallagher and Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer Street in Stamford from 10:00-11:00am Thursday November 3rd.
