CGC’s 2016 Gala Was A Huge Success

Your support of CGC’s Come Play! gala provided critical mental health care to thousands of children and teens in our community.

On behalf of the entire Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut team and the children and families we serve, we would like to thank all who attended and supported our annual Come Play! gala which took place on Saturday, April 30, 2016.

Your contributions helped us raise $439,000, the most we have ever raised! Every dollar contributed that night will be directly invested into the future of thousands of children, leading them on a journey of growth and success. This funding will help our agency to:

• Provide after-hours crisis intervention services to children who have lost hope and are contemplating suicide
• Help children who have suffered from abuse and trauma
• Support the behavioral, academic, and emotional growth of all children, regardless of their family’s ability to pay
