With a longstanding commitment to increasing the effectiveness of the service delivery system for children and families, the Child Guidance Center maintains an extensive network of relationships with community agencies. We provide consultation and on-site services to schools and other child-serving agencies (i.e., courts, police, sexual abuse, substance abuse, and domestic violence programs, family services agencies, and Connecticut Department of Children and Families), receiving referrals from a broad base of youth-serving agencies and utilize the services of area agencies to meet the extensive needs of our patients.
